Appropriate was the last MainStage production of 2019-20 season at the University of Pittsburgh. The cast was comprised of undergraduate students, graduate student, Phd student as well as faulty at Pitt. The playwright, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, intentionally chooses to use an all-white cast to tackle the longstanding racism in America, as well as other sensitive topics such as pedophilia and homophobia. Thus, it was key to make sure everyone feels safe both physically and emotionally in the space during rehearsals and performances. Additionally, there was a sequence of specially effects in this show, and it was challenging and fun to call the cues.

For performances, I led stagehands to move around furnitures during scene transitions.

I began summer 2019 as an SM intern on Bright Star for Front Porch Theatricals. As my first time working with a professional theater company, with 3 weeks of rehearsals, Bright Star was a fast paced intense process for me. I interned as an ASM and built up a deck sheet with the rest of SM team. I loaded in the set to the New Hazlett Theater with other interns, and I was a spotlight operator during tech and the 7 performances.

This production was the North American premiere of an Irish Classic, On Trial, co-sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Theatre Arts, The European Studies Center, and the Provost's Year of PittGlobal. This production was a directing project of Nic Barilar, a PhD candidate, and the cast was made of undergraduate students at Pitt. The rehearsal and tech process was challenging due to the lack of stable rehearsal space and the short amount of time allowed for load-in and tech. There were 4 shows in total, 3 of which were followed by discussion panel of Pitt and CMU scholars.

She Kills Monster was the first MainStage production of 2018-19 season at the University of Pittsburgh. The cast was comprised of undergraduate students from different backgrounds. This show required me as an ASM to track, maintain, and secure a large amount of stage weapons, such as swords and axes, along with other props. Besides, I was also responsible for leading the stagehands to move around large pieces of furnitures and puppets.
